Video: FC Copenhagen captain thanks Solskjaer for everything he’s done at United

It took a 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen to book Manchester United’s place in the Europa League semi-finals.

Though it wasn’t all plain sailing as it took a penalty in extra time from Bruno Fernandes to win the game.

There was a nice moment after the match as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a conversation with FC Copenhagen skipper Zeca,

Zeca is a United fan and he went straight over the Solskjaer at full-time to thank him for everything he’s done in Manchester.

From scoring that iconic goal in Barcelona to complete United’s 1999 treble to the job he’s doing as manager, Solskjaer has certainly put a greater shine on his legendary status at the club.

Bruno Fernandes was also caught on camera and Solskjaer shared a joke with the Portugal international, which is accurate, stating ‘he’s helping’ when replying to Zeca.

Check out the video below (footage courtesy of DAZN) where Zeca says: “Thank you very much for everything you have done in Manchester.”

It’s no wonder Solskjaer is such a popular figure. He carries himself like a true professional with a warm personality, and that’s why I don’t think he will have a problem attracting the best players as United manager.

Hopefully the Reds can end the season with a Europa League triumph.
