Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has proved an inspiration with his work in helping feed vulnerable children. His efforts have been recognised with an appearance on the front cover of British Vogue magazine.

The 22-year-old shared the ‘surreal moment’ with his social media followers — but this all comes after the deserve praised he received on the back of leveraging the government to perform a U-turn on their free school meals policy during the summer months.

Rashford is not just a brilliant football, but he’s a great guy to go with it.

After partnering with FareShare UK, a poverty and food waste charity, Rashford has helped raise more than £20m to ensure children are fed during the global coronavirus pandemic.

“I would have failed everyone that had helped me get to where I am today if I didn’t put myself out there and say: ‘This is not ok — and it needs to change.’ In fact, I would have failed my 10-year-old self,” Rashford told Vogue.
