Patrice Evra was full of praise for Mason Greenwood in the Sky Sports studio before Thursday night’s Premier League fixture between Aston Villa and Manchester United kicked off at Villa Park.
The 18-year-old striker has been scoring goals for fun since the resumption of the Premier League and he is currently keeping Wales international Daniel James out of the team.
It’s difficult not to get excited about his potential and I think that was super clear from Patrice Evra’s analysis tonight.
He compared Greenwood to former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie, who won the Premier League as top scorer in his first season at Old Trafford back in 2013.
Greenwood will hope to do the same in the coming years and things are looking good!
