Paul Scholes perfectly sums up how Man United fans are feeling after Brighton win

Manchester United have brought back a feel-good factor within the fanbase that has been missing ever since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s winning blitz upon his arrival as interim manager.

The Reds cruised past Brighton 3-0 on Tuesday evening with the same starting XI that dismissed Sheffield United at Old Trafford in their last league outing.

Confidence is sky high right now and United have given themselves a fantastic opportunity to finish in the top-four with six crucial games remaining.

Defeats for Chelsea and Leicester completed the perfect midweek for United, who are now only two points from fourth place and within touching distance of the Foxes in third.

What has been so important about the two league victories that have bred so much confidence is the continuity in the team selection.

By accident or design, Solskjaer has found his best United starting XI and a level of understanding is building and promising partnerships are forming.

Bruno Fernandes has been outstanding in the number 10 role, with Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic also excelling in the double midfield pivot.

Mason Greenwood is also showing exciting signs in an attacking three alongside Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

United great Paul Scholes’ Instagram message after the Brighton game read ‘Well then… I think we have a football team’.

Scholes, like many other supporters, is clearly excited about a balanced United side that is brimming with talent and potential.
