Manchester United ‘in love’ with Jadon Sancho, claims reliable journalist

The Jadon Sancho transfer saga is refusing to die down.

Last night there was a big update from respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano stating that Sancho’s move to Manchester United is still very much on the cards.

“[United] are speaking with Jadon Sancho and are still in contact with his agent. The contract won’t be a problem. The player knows Manchester United,” he said during an appearance on The United Stand via YouTube.

“They are in love with Jadon Sancho. The management, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Everyone at Manchester United is in love with Jadon Sancho.”

He went on to add: “Borussia Dortmund are relaxed about Jadon Sancho because they haven’t received any bids.”

But teams won’t be making bids until the transfer window is open, right?

That said, there may be an issue with the transfer fee. Dortmund will hold out for as much they can for their most prized asset, but with the COVID-19 financial crisis about to negatively impact the football world, I can’t help but think valuations of individual players need to drop.

United may be in the same boat this summer when it comes to shifting Paul Pogba.

With Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and potentially Sancho in attack next season, United are planning to have one of the best attacks in Europe.

Solskjaer has already done fine work to improve the side defensively, so if he can sort the midfield and improve the attack this summer I will be very happy.
