Borussia Dortmund chief willing to discuss transfer of Man Utd target Jadon Sancho

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke says he is willing to discuss Jadon Sancho’s exit from the club.

Watzke claims Sancho has the potential to become one of the best “two or three players in the world”.

And with that undoubtedly being an objective for Sancho, the Dortmund chief admits it will be difficult to keep hold of the highly rated English youngster.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs after lighting up the Bundesliga, including Manchester United, as per 90 Min, who claim the Red Devils can land Sancho for a club-record fee of £120m before Euro 2020.

Watzke told RMC Sport (via Daily Mail): “Jadon is a great, great talent, maybe the greatest talent in Europe currently of players under the age of 21.

“In my opinion, he has the potential to become one of the two or three best players in the world in the years to come.”

They have a good relationship and Watzke says they’ll discuss it when Sancho asks to leave the club.

“If one day he comes to us and says that he wants to leave the club, then we’ll discuss it.”

Sancho would be a fine addition for Manchester United this summer. We are currently lacking quality on the right flank and he’d bring a degree of balance to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attack.

Along with Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial — the prospect of seeing Sancho play for United next season is an exciting one.
