Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their efforts to sign talented youngster Jude Bellingham amid over the Birmingham City starlet’s future.

The 16-year-old has gained a lot of experience in the Championship this season, scoring four games and registering three assists in 35 appearances.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is always looking for the brightest talent — and the figures suggest he’s right to be monitoring Bellingham.

When you really think about the contributions all of Solskjaer’s signings have made you can see progress, especially now we’re on a 10-game unbeaten run with special thanks to new signing Bruno Fernandes, who looks like a brilliant leader for young players.

According to the Daily Mail, as backed up by Sky Sports, Bellingham’s parents were seen leaving United’s training ground on Monday, with the Mail’s report specifically linking him with a £35m move to Old Trafford.

Sky say the player accompanied his parents on their visit and that Bermingham granted him permission.

Last week it was reported that Borussia Dortmund were ready to beat United to Bellingham’s signature.

According to ESPN’s Stephan Uersfeld, BVB have been tracking the youngster for some time and that he also visited their training facilities.

It sounds like Bellingham is weighing up his options and it’s too early to get excited about this deal.
