There’s no doubt that Aaron Wan-Bissaka does need to work on his game in an attacking sense, but he’s utterly imperious when it comes to the defensive side of his game.
It could be down to seeing a lack of top quality defenders in the modern era, but we tend to associate a winger running at his man with having a big chance of getting past him to cause problems.

That just isn’t the case with the United right back – it’s virtually impossible to get past him anyway, and then his recovery speed is astonishing to get back even if someone does find a way.
He completely nullified Raheem Sterling in the derby this afternoon, to the point you could see the Man City star just didn’t fancy getting the ball after a while.
These fans took to Twitter joyously point that out:
Bissaka probably uses Bitcoin
Cos he’s making sterling useless

It will be fascinating to see how this mini-rivalry plays out if Sterling stays at City. We’ve seen it so many times over the years that it will start to get in a player’s head if someone constantly gets the better of them.
There were so many great performances from those in red today, but Wan-Bissaka effectively scared their best attacking threat out of the game, and that needs to be admired.
