(Video) Rio Ferdinand trolls Man United fan who makes transfer claim about Jack Grealish

One pessimistic fan believes Manchester United do not have the pulling power to attract Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish this summer.

Grealish is expected to leave his boyhood club at the end of the season for a bigger team that can match his ambitions, and United are said to be at the front of the queue for his signature.

According to Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stepped up his interest in the Villa captain, and a deal would ideally be negotiated before the season ends and the European Championships begin in the summer.

The 24-year-old has spearheaded Villa’s survival charge this season and has been at the heart of almost everything Dean Smith’s side have done well.

But one caller on Talksport radio cannot see Grealish leaving for a club like United this summer.

Admittedly, if Solskjaer’s side fail to qualify for the Champions League this season, Grealish may prefer a move to a side that will play in Europe’s elite competition.

But it seems bizarre that a United fan would think a club of this size would not be a big enough draw for an Aston Villa midfielder…

United great Rio Ferdinand shared the same response as us all after hearing the phone-in.
