Video: Man United youngster James Garner scores stunning solo goal in Brugge friendly

Manchester United’s u19 side played a friendly against Club Brugge’s counterparts before the first team’s Europa League clash on Thursday evening.

Some United fans were left confused after Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong and James Garner were not involved in first-team training at Carrington on Wednesday ahead of the tie.

But it had been decided by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that the talented trio would fly out early and take part in the friendly for the young Reds.

The Reds won the friendly against tough opposition 2-0, with James Garner scoring the pick of the goals.

Garner has a big future at the club and showed us what he was capable of; the midfielder dribbled past several players before slotting home into the bottom corner.

Chong, who has an uncertain future at the club, netted the other goal for the Reds.
