Report: Juventus offer Man Utd £42-50m plus midfield star with PL experience in latest Pogba bid

It is hardly news that Paul Pogba wants to leave Manchester United this summer…

Juventus are reportedly working on a swap deal that would take the Frenchman back to Turin. And, in a recent interview with Sky Sports News, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola said Italy is “like a second home” for the United midfielder, who has only made eight appears for the Red Devils this season.

The Daily Express claims the Serie A champions remain keen to re-sign Pogba and are already planning a bid involving one of their players. Italian sports journalist Nicolo Schira says the Old Lady will offer United £42m-£50m plus Aaron Ramsey.

Schira adds that Pogba’s first choice is Juventus which may come as a blow to Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.

Ramsey joined Juve last summer for free after his Arsenal contract expired but has struggled to make his mark in Serie A, scoring just two goals in 21 appearances. Although those stats aren’t anything special, I think United could do a lot worse than signing the Wales international but the fee being offered is nowhere near enough!

Moreover, to speed up the process of Pogba’s departure, Raiola also rattled a few cages this week by publicly hitting out at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on social media.

We’re totally over the circus now and hope United can find the Prima Dona and his big-mouth agent a new home this summer.

Juventus and Real Madrid are welcome to him.
