Dan James misses out as Greenwood names four quickest Man Utd players

Mason Greenwood has named the four fastest Manchester United players in his opinion.

We were surprised by Daniel James’ omission from Greenwood’s dream relay team consisting of current United players, as the striker picked the likes of Diogo Dalot and Brandon Williams instead.

He trains with them every day, so we are in no position to argue with his picks.

In an interview with Soccer Bible, Greenwood was asked “If you could choose a 4 x 100 metres sprint team with your teammates, who would be in it?” And he picked Dalot, Williams, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Greenwood said: “That’s harsh because we’ve got some really fast players. I’ve got to have Marcus Rashford on the last bit, Brandon Williams too, he’s rapid, Anthony Martial, and probably Diogo Dalot, because he’s very fast as well.”

It will probably come as a shock to most of you that James, definitely one of the quickest at the club right now, wasn’t included. The 18-year-old was then asked about leaving the Welsh winger out, saying, “Oh yeah… can it be 6 x 100m?”

He probably just forgot about James as he’s looked the quickest on the pitch this season.

However, nobody will be surprised that Harry Maguire didn’t feature in Greenwood’s shortlist.

The young striker has scored 10 senior goals this season and has a very bright future ahead of him.
