Bruno Fernandes was back in Portugal on Sunday just 24 hours after his Manchester United debut.
The midfielder was in attendance for Sporting Lisbon’s away fixture against Braga in the Primera Liga.
Sporting certainly missed their old talisman’s creative spark as the game ended in a disappointing 1-0 defeat.
Fernandes still loves his old club so there’s no surprise to see him in attendance, especially now United have reached their winter break.
Meanwhile, Fernandes long-awaited United debut received mixed reactions in the 0-0 draw against Wolves.
We feel the Portugal international made an encouraging start for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side; he showed promise on the ball and looked United’s most likely goal-threat.
Fernandes will next be in action for the Reds on the 17th of February away to Chelsea.
