(Video) Simon Jordan expresses scathing criticism of Solskjaer as Man Utd struggles continue

Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has hit out at Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Man Utd boss has had his share of criticism this season and many are surprised he has not been sacked by the club yet. As he looks set to keep his role as manager, for now at least, Solskjaer has a lot to prove.

Results must improve and the performances need to show a clear attacking identity.

The 2-0 defeat vs Liverpool on Sunday saw United beaten against the better team with no complaints. With the teams around us dropping points, it could have been worse but we must respond against Burnley on Wednesday by claiming all three points.

Simon Jordan is a regular on talkSPORT and he slammed Solskjaer during his recent appearance on the show.

Jordan says it’s laughable to think Solskjaer can bring us any closer to Man City or Liverpool.

It seems harsh to shoot down Solskjaer’s leadership qualities when he’s having a difficult season on the injury front. So many star players have been out for sustained periods, and they’re the players who would have United in a better position in the league standings.

Paul Pogba is the main one — already after missing three months this term with more to follow — and that would prove to be a hindrance for any side.

Anyhow, I don’t think Jordan will be on Solskjaer’s Christmas card list this year!
