The decision to rule out Roberto Firmino’s goal for Liverpool against Manchester United at Anfield prompted an extraordinary rant from Graeme Souness in the Sky Sports studio at half-time.
Souness was left fuming after Virgil Van Dijk was adjudged to have fouled David De Gea in the build-up to Firmino’s strike.
Roy Keane and Souness were both in agreement that no foul took place, but Patrice Evra feels that the right decision was made after a VAR review.
