Confirmed Man Utd XI to face Watford: Martial starts, Pogba on bench

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his starting eleven for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Watford at Vicarage Road.

The Reds can move within one point of the Champions League places with victory against Nigel Pearson’s side, currently sitting bottom of the table.

Solskjaer has opted for his preferred attacking trio of Daniel James, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Luke Shaw retains his place at left-back ahead of Brandon Williams and Ashley Young.

Fred and Scott Mctominay return in a midfield pivot after being rested in the Carabao Cup victory against Colchester in midweek.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba returns to the match day squad for the first time since sustaining an ankle injury against Arsenal on September 30.

The Frenchman will be looking to make an impact off the bench if given a cameo by the United manager.
