Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed why Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not in the Manchester United squad to face Arsenal at Old Trafford tonight.
Axel Tuanzebe, who captained the Reds on Wednesday night against Rochdale, has taken the former Crystal Palace defender’s place at right-back.
Wan-Bissaka has been ruled out of tonight’s crucial game with an illness.
“He has been ill over the weekend so we had to make a decision on that yesterday. Hopefully we will have him back soon.” Solskjaer said as quoted by the official Man Utd app.
United’s summer signing has been one of Solskjaer’s standout performers this season, and we hope he can return for Thursday’s Europa League group stage game against AZ Alkmaar or the away league trip to Newcastle on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Tuanzebe will be looking to impress in the England u21 international’s place, in a position he has played for the Reds before .
