Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville never hold back against one another when it comes to fiery debates. The Sky Sports punditry pair played a part in last night’s testimonial for former Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany and they were the focus early on.
They representing the Premier League All-Stars in a charity match against Manchester City Legends. Even though it was Kompany’s testimonial, the Belgian missed the encounter with injury, which is pretty ironic given the amount of time he spent out injured during his final years at the Etihad.
Neville didn’t coat himself in glory on this opening goal by Martin Petrov.

The former Liverpool captain went on to mention it in his post-match interview, alongside ex-United striker Robin van Persie, who scored the pick of the four goals as it ended 2-2.
