Paul Pogba missed a golden opportunity to regain the lead for Manchester United against Wolves.
The Frenchman took the spot-kick after being felled in the box following a wonderful piece of individual skill to evade the Wolves defence.
But Pogba had his penalty saved by Wolves keeper Rui Patricio, at what was a comfortable height for the Portuguese international.
Man Utd legend and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has given his reaction to Pogba’s penalty, saying ‘I knew it’.
We wonder why Pogba was on the penalty, perhaps because Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s policy is to give whoever wins it the chance to convert.
But surely Rashford should have taken it given the conviction in his penalty against Chelsea last weekend.
I knew it!! Why oh why!
