Conflicting reports everywhere!
Portuguese newspaper Record (cited by Sport Witness) claims Tuesday is the day things are actually happening, with Manchester United getting in on the bidding for Sporting Lisbon playmaker Bruno Fernandes by offering more than the €60m tabled by Tottenham Hotspur.
That would be considered welcome news to most United fans, eager to see another player arrive at Old Trafford this summer to ensure manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the best chance possible in his first full season in charge.

However, an update from Portuguese journalist Gonçalo Lopes (@_GoncaloLopes) claims that may not exactly be the case.
Lopes says there has been no contact between United and Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho.

If anyone is talking with @ManUtd regarding Bruno Fernandes, that someone is not his agent. And Bruno will not agree any contract without his agent.
