Report: Ronaldo urges Dybala to sign for Man Utd in Juventus stars ‘WhatsApp group’

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Manchester United great and Juventus teammate Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Paulo Dybala to make the switch to Old Trafford.

Dybala is currently in talks with United over a potential swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku moving to Turin.

Sky Sports reported that this surprise swap now all hinges on whether Dybala is prepared to move to play under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as the deal is ‘all but done’.

And now, according to the Mail’s report, Ronaldo has told Dybala in a WhatsApp group chat that he ‘must’ move to the Reds in order to become a champion.

It is said that Ronaldo’s endorsement of United included the fact that he also became a ‘champion’ in his time there, after lifting the Champions League under Sir Alex Ferguson in his penultimate season at the club.

Dybala was left in Ronaldo’s shadow in Turin last season, and the report claims he now feels he is ready for a move.

It remains to be seen whether Ronaldo really has advised Dybala to move to Manchester, but we will know if a deal can take place soon enough with just a week to go until the transfer window shuts.

Respected Italian journalist Di Marzio says that negotiations will resume today with Juventus and United over the swap, with the aim to reach a suitable agreement between the two clubs.
