Ashley Young was booed by his own fans when he came on as a substitute during the pre-season friendly against Inter Milan.
The converted full-back as subject to needless booing when he made his way on to the pitch, but it continued whenever he touched the ball.
Disgraceful…
Young clearly isn’t a popular figure among United fans, who have grown impatient with team selections made by previous managers and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But Young’s professionalism has never come under question.
At 34-years of age, it’s sad that some people fail to understand he is in decline.
Moreover, it’s a bloody pre-season friendly! What idiots feel the need to boo a man who has given over 8-years worth of service to the football club?
ESPN’s Rob Dawson at the match in Singapore and he described it as “very odd,” as seen in the tweet below.
Ashley Young booed by United fans at National Stadium in Singapore when he came on. Every touch being booed, too. Very odd.
