Man Utd ‘offered’ Juventus star in Paul Pogba swap deal

The Paul Pogba summer transfer saga continues to rumble on.

According to Marca, Juventus are desperate not to lose out on the Manchester United midfielder, and are willing to offer Paulo Dybala in order to get a deal done.

Pogba has expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford this summer in order to seek new challenges; Real Madrid and a return to the Old Lady are seen as potential destinations for the World Cup winner.

Dybala, 25, only scored 5 goals in Serie A last season but is seen as a player with huge talent who can fill a number of attacking roles.

If manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does let Pogba go this summer, it may be useful getting a player in any potential swap deal.

Marca’s report states that Alex Sandro and Blaise Matuidi may also be considered in a swap deal with the Reds with the pair’s future’s now in doubt following the arrival of new boss Mauricio Sarri.

Moreover, Real Madrid are also said to have offered Gareth Bale in exchange for Pogba, with Zinedine Zidane keen to bring the Frenchman to the Bernabeu.

Bale has been frozen out by Zidane since his arrival, although there is no inclination that the Welshman is likely to move this summer.

We hope the Pogba saga can be solved before United’s pre-season tour of Australia so it doesn’t drag out over the whole summer.
