Nemanja Vidic offered job to coach Man Utd U23s

Nemanja Vidic has been offered the chance to coach Manchester United Under-23s, according to reports.

Serbian journalists Nebojsa Markovic issued a tweet this afternoon quoting FK Vojvodina coach and friend of Vidic, Nenad Lalatovic.

He told Elta TV: “He got an offer to coach Man Utd B. I told him that’s perfect for him if he wants to coach, but he hasn’t decided yet.” 

Vidic would be a popular choice for the job among fans.

It’s a great way to welcome back previous footballers to the club if they’re looking for different ways to break into the football world after playing.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started similarly – coaching the underage teams at United before taking the Molde job, his first step into first team management.
