United are said to be one of a number of elite European clubs chasing Felix, but Goal claim that Atleti ‘are hopeful of convincing’ the Benfica sensation that he will gain more first-team opportunities with them than any other club.
But all Felix needs to do is watch a couple of United games from last season. He’ll then be convinced he can walk into our team like no other…
It’s also claimed that the La Liga side ‘cannot compete financially’ but there’s still a belief that Felix will choose the club due to bettering himself by working under Diego Simeone.
According to Transfermarkt, Felix is valued at €70m although higher valuations have been rumoured in the press. A recent report from the Daily Mirror stated that he will cost at least £105m this summer, which is a lot for a teenager, who only recently made his debut for Portugal.
