Manchester United suffered their third defeat of the Premier League season against West Ham and we’re still in September.
Our 10 points from seven games equals the start under David Moyes in 2013-14 and it’s just not good enough. Fans are frustrated seeing Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City run away with the title race, while we’ll be talking of a top four finish in October.
A mess.

Moreover, Mourinho’s United are averaging 1.42 points per game this season. Moyes was on 1.68 when he was sacked. What is going to give?
The players looked dumbfound against The Hammers with zero attacking intent for much of the game.
Reflecting on the problems that face United, they lie with more people than the manager but he is the most immediate issue. And the harsh truth is anyone that objectively looked at the patterns of Mourinho’s career could have easily predicted this.
A lot of us are guilty of blinding ourselves to this.
Without further ado, this is how United fans reacted to the defeat on Twitter:
Manchester United drew with Wolves and lost to Derby and West Ham within a week, and none of it felt that great a surprise. This goes way beyond Mourinho v Pogba.

They played Burnley, Brighton, Leicester, Watford, West Ham, Wolves and Tottenham. #MUFC #WHUMUN

You know when it’s REALLY bad when you lose and you feel NOTHING.
I feel nothing today, because every minute, every second is predictable.
When we used to lose it would ruin my weekend, it would ruin my life.
Now, I’m thinking ‘ah let’s watch the golf.’#MUFC #MourinhoOut

Last season it took until December 17th for Manchester United to concede their 12th league goal of the season. This season, September 29th.

Having watched United play these last few weeks and listened to a variety of different opinions, I think I can narrow the problem down to the fact that we are fuckin’ shit.

Sacking Mourinho might seem the obvious thing to do now but history shows that Woodward will only do this when the damage is already done. Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if this goes on for weeks / months.

Mourinho isn’t the reason United aren’t challenging City and aren’t properly competing in the CL.
He is, however, the main reason this side is massively underperforming so far this season.
This only ends one way.
