Man United defender Chris Smalling turned into Romelu Lukaku for a brief moment this evening, as the England international scored a superb volley to double United’s lead against Watford.
The former Fulham man gave Jose Mourinho’s side some breathing space going into half time, as his brilliant touch, turn and finish put the Red Devils two goals to the good.
United fans will be delighted to see Smalling put their side two goals up, as Watford have looked dangerous throughout most of the first half, and have looked as if they could score at least once today.
Smalling’s finish was so good, some fans could’ve thought he was Lukaku for a second given the way he hammered his volley home!
Here’s a clip of Smalling’s brilliant control and finish, something we didn’t know the centre-back had in his locker! Fair play to him!
