Ladbrokes got in touch with us this morning to tell us the latest on the next Manchester United manager odds as speculation grows over Jose Mourinho’s future at Old Trafford.
With two wins from the opening four games, the Portuguese tactician seems to be struggling after a difficult summer in the transfer market and some questionable performances in pre-season.
Our friends over at Caught Offside have been told by sources close to Zinedine Zidane that he’s confident he could be offered the chance to replace Mourinho soon, though we’ve heard nothing about that.

As the rumours continue, Ladbrokes have had a look at some big-name managers and their odds of taking Mourinho’s job and it includes previous Premier League winners such as Antonio Conte and Carlos Ancelotti, both formerly of Chelsea.
If you fancy an outside bet and think Mourinho’s days are numbered, United legends Paul Scholes and Gary Neville are considered outsiders, while Zidane is priced as the favourite at 7/4.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Jose’s future with United is looking less stable by the day and while our traders think Zidane’s the man to replace him, we’re not yet ruling out a shock appointment in the Red Devil dugout.”
