Following a summer of constant speculation, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic looks set to leave Lazio.
It has emerged that Milinkovic-Savic failed to show up for medical tests at Lazio on Monday.
Rumours suggest that SMS skipped a flight back to Rome after his vacation following the World Cup.
According to Corriere dello Sport, three clubs are circling the Serbia international. While Real Madrid and Manchester United are interested, they’ve appeared to have distanced themselves from any deal as Lazio demand €120 million for the 23-year-old.
That has opened the door for Premier League rivals Chelsea, who the report suggests are willing to pay €115 million for the midfielder.
Chelsea are not in the Champions League next season, so surely if one of the other big clubs did move for the Lazio star, the Blues would struggle to land their man.
