Man Utd linked with shock Premier League double swoop

Manchester United have been linked with a free transfer swoop which would come a huge shock to any fan.

Stretty News understands Jose Mourinho has already moved to strengthen his midfield this summer with a move for Brazilian midfielder Fred, who returned to Brazil training today ahead of their upcoming World Cup match with Costa Rica, but Manchester Evening News have suggested that two more players may bolster that area of the squad, as per United In Focus.

As Mourinho attempts to best utilise his budget, it may mean economising elsewhere, such as left-back or a backup striker. The MEN claim that Jack Wilshere and Yaya Toure may make the switch to Old Trafford.

Toure has publicly criticised Pep Guardiola with his agent going further to suggest he’d play in the Premier League for a rival of City’s for a salary of just £1-a-week, as reported by The Independent.

Wilshere, on the other hand, would cost more than that but money isn’t an issue. His fitness is.

That said, the Arsenal midfielder enjoyed a decent run of form last season and could be over the worst of his injuries.

Still, I’m not sure about this one. The story or having Toure and Wilshere at United.

I think we should be aiming higher and a club that takes in so much money every year shouldn’t ask Mourinho to budget when United have a lot of improving to do before the 2018/19 campaign begins.

It would bolster the squad depth at United. Nothing more.
