Make no mistake about it. Manchester United losing a player of Anthony Martial’s potential would be a kick in the teeth.
It goes without saying that he is a fans’ favourite and a popular personality in the dressing – even though he may appear a bit of a sulk ala Nicolas Anelka.
That said, Martial is different gravy and most clubs would take the arm off us for his signature. Juventus, PSG and Atletico Madrid are already sniffing around, amid reports Jose Mourinho is looking to bolster his attack with the France international surplus to requirements.

If this is to put pressure on the United hierarchy, good on Martial and I hope he gets what he wants at the club. However, if United manage to waste that talent, and see him fulfilling his potential elsewhere, that is damning of the direction of the club.
