Video: Matteo Darmian imminent arrival to Old Trafford

Fabrizio Romano, journalist at Sky Sports Italy and Calciomercato staff at Di Marzio gives an update on the imminent transfer of Matteo Darmian to Manchester United.

The Italian full back is likely to walk straight into the United starting eleven by replacing Antonio Valencia in the right-back position.

Fellow reds have been calling out for a new addition to the squad that will hopefully forever see a prevention of Valencia playing a defensive role again. We can only dream Darmian arrives and can fulfil his potential.

  1. Good news to Manchester united fans, but we need Ramos.

  2. LVG should bring OTAMEDI and forget Ramos and sig
n MORGAN SCHINIEDERLIN for MAN UTD and also do by all means to bring in KANE to BOOST OUR SQUAD.

  3. good news but we need Ramos

  4. Johnson Okot says:

Leave ramos because i know he wont join us sign otamendi, morgan, and kane then things would be ok.

  5. Mohamed Sesay: Yes, a centre back still very much the priority in defence but there are alternatives to Sergio Ramos. We were also told earlier that United will lodge one more bid for the Real Madrid defender and if that’s rejected, they’ll move on. I wish Los Blancos had the same approach to David de Gea.

Wilfred Emmanel: Otamendi is another option… I’d love to say watch this space… but I reckon it depends on Ramos.

Johnson Okot: Would you pay £40m on Kane after one season? I wrote about it a while back for The Mirror: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/fans-view-manchester-united-should-5702754

  6. S Mohammed says:

is good news for man utd but still we need more defend and defendmivende and best strike

    • @S Mohammed: Yeah, we need another centre back. Schneiderlin is being heavily linked as a holding midfielder. Striker wise, I have no idea. I’d like Benteke.
