Manchester United have agreed a £25 million deal with PSV for winger Memphis Depay, according to reports in Holland (Voetbal International & De Telegraaf).
The 21-year-old has also been linked with moves to Liverpool and PSG, but Louis van Gaal has won the race for his signature.
Dutch journalist Thijs Slegers (@thijsslegers) initially shared reports that Depay told his PSV team-mates of the move at their training ground this morning and was warmly congratulated. It is also believed that after training the Netherlands flyer will travel to Manchester in order to finalise talks.
Depay enjoys a close relationship with United boss Louis van Gaal which is about to get even closer. The former Netherland’s boss brought him to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and gave him a platform on the world stage.
Confirmation from Manchester United (@ManUtd).
Pending the successful completion of the medical, the deal will go through once the transfer window opens in June.
