Wayne Rooney’s volley in Manchester United’s 2-0 win at Crystal Palace has won the club’s Goal of the Month award.
Rooney said afterwards: “The ball was set up nicely and I knew that if I got decent contact on it, I had a chance. Thankfully it went in.”
Andreas Pereira’s winner (12%) for the Under-21s against West Ham came second with Jesse Lingard’s solo effort (6%) against Sunderland third.
