Ángelo Henríquez, on loan at Wigan Athletic from Manchester United, today scored his first Premier League against Sunderland.
United confirmed the signing of Henríguez on September 5 when the Chile international officially joined from Universidad de Chile for an undisclosed fee. This month however, the 18-year-old went on loan to the DW Stadium until the end of the season in attempt to achieve more game time and experience at Premier League level.
Roberto Martinez brought Henriquez in because he believes the striker has huge potential, offering Wigan something different up front. Hopefully he gets a few more goals under his belt before returning.
