Again… Manchester United have insisted the club is not for sale after reports suggested the Glazers were about to sell it to Qatar Holding, who didn’t know anything about a supposed deal reported to be worth £1.5 billion.
Qatar Holding, an indirect subsidiary of Qatar Investment Authority is run by Sheik Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Thani, who is currently Prime Minister of Qatar.
A spokesman for Manchester United said:
There has been no approach of any kind to buy the club and one wouldn’t be welcome anyway because it is not for sale.
Seems to be a short interview doesn’t it, I guess we’ll have to wait another few months before some other journalist decides to write more crap getting the majority of Manchester United fans excited over nothing – that’s my view on this.
