Yesterday Manchester United were linked with the signing of Aalesund goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard as we reported here!
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of goalkeepers during the past few years so that was part of the reason I wasn’t sure whether to believe it or not but now reports are suggesting that Lindegaard is on his way to undergo a medical in Manchester.
Lindegaard aged 26 has made over 70 league appearances for Aalesund since arriving in the year 2009. I woke up this morning to see that Peter Schmeicheal had quoted that the goalkeeper wasn’t good enough for Manchester United but I think we can all agree that Ferguson has an eye for picked out young talent.
When asked earlier Lindegaard was unsure whether he played his last game for Aalesund when he told Sporten.dk.
“I don’t know if I have played my last match for Aalesund.
My plan is to move on now. You have got to be a very good goalkeeper to get sold these days.”
