Match Report: Bolton Wanderers 2-2 Manchester United

Not the result we expect after beating Liverpool 3-2 the week before is it? I thought after beating Liverpool we would of gone on a run of successful games. Winning important games like that gives your players confidence which some of ours didn’t have playing against Bolton Sunday.

I think our worries so far this season have been all focused on the back four. Honestly I think John O’Shea is the problem, he isn’t one bit comfortable whenever he has the ball at his feet which is worrying when your a professional footballer playing for the biggest team in the world! Don’t get me wrong O’Shea can do the job every now and again but is he really good enough to start every week? My preferred right back would be Rafael De Silva who we haven’t seen a whole lot of so far this season.

Wayne Rooney didn’t have a great day at the office but I think it’s fair to say that his family problems have made him struggle in recent performances and the media aren’t helping that. Nani’s goal was superb, ran straight trough Bolton’s defence in style and hit the ball with great power into the back of the net; just how Ronaldo used to do it!

Michael Owen who didn’t get much of a chance so far this season came on with United being a goal down to score the equalizer which was his 200th career goal. We really messed up Sunday after Chelsea and Arsenal losing Saturday. Things could of been looking a whole lot better before we kick off against Sunderland on Saturday.
