Andre Onana is set to return to Manchester United at the end of the season, with Trabzonspor ‘unlikely’ to try and sign him on a permanent deal.
That’s according to talkSPORT, which adds that club officials have conceded they’re set to take a major financial hit on the £47.2 million they shelled out for him in 2023.

Andre Onana: The state of play

Onana, meanwhile, is said to be hopeful that he can revive his Red Devils career and even reclaim his No.1 spot from Senne Lammens, who’s enjoying a tremendous run of form since being made the first-choice between the sticks.
Of course, there is absolutely no chance of that happening, so the Cameroonian will have to brace himself for disappointment when he eventually holds meetings with INEOS chiefs this summer.
He was shipped out on loan to the Turkish league following his ‘humiliating’ display in United’s Carabao Cup opener, which saw him concede two first-half goals to the League Two opposition before letting in a whopping 12 penalties in the shootout.
The loss confirmed that the Reds would exit the competition at the first hurdle, while it also spelt the end of Onana’s career at the club – at least as an active player.

Please NO!
Andre Onana should never return from Trabzonspor and give him off for free for whoever are willing to take him.
I am from Africa but if someone is not good that is it.Let him go.
Onana should never have been at Man Utd. Let’s pray some misguided team appoints ETH as manager. Then we could get a nice fee for him
Sell him for whatever we can get. Take the hit. Move on.
I while back I thought he might improve with the right coaching. I was wrong.
