Bayern Munich have made an initial enquiry over Alejandro Garnacho amidst their ongoing search for a new winger.
ESPN have today revealed that the Bundesliga giants have begun sizing up a move for the Manchester United outcast, asking ‘what it would take’ to hash out a deal this summer.
Their interest comes in the aftermath of losing Jamal Musiala to a lengthy injury setback and sanctioning Leroy Sane’s switch to Galatasaray.
ESPN: ‘It’s possible’ Garnacho ends up at Bayern
From Garnacho’s point of view, he is aiming to move within the Premier League, but could reconsider his stance if no formal offers are made.
Additionally, the prospect of joining a European goliath such as Bayern, where he’ll be in contention to win silverware on all fronts next season, may prove too lucrative to turn down if they materialise their interest.
Aston Villa, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are among Garnacho’s English suitors, with only the two London clubs providing him the opportunity to play in the Champions League throughout 2025/2026. Villa secured qualification for the Europa League via a sixth-placed finish – just days after the forward featured in the competition’s final: a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Why Garnacho would be a worthy coup for any club

It’s no surprise to see him becoming something of a man in demand since he was made available by United.
At only 21 years old, Garnacho boasts 144 first-team appearances for the 20-time champions, scoring 26 goals and assisting a further 22 in that time.
He’s found the back of the net in the 2024 FA Cup final and subsequent Community Shield final, and, at one stage, had cemented his place on the team sheet week in, week out.
Add that to the fact he’s an eight-capped international for reigning world champions Argentina, with whom he’s lifted the Copa America, and INEOS’ £40 million valuation will make him an attractive coup for any side.

Good for him , I have no doubt Garnacho will perform to expectations and Bayern will give him a platform to showcase himself .
Garnacho is not improveing it’s better for him to live we need serious players to Man Utd we need our happy days back
United are making a big mistake by letting this guy go. They will regret it since I don’t think the current manager will make them tick.
Good for him. He is a gifted player who could perform at any level. However, he needs to understand that no player is above the game and needs to let his performances speak for himself.
Rashford flourished at Villa and got an England recall. Anthony flourished in Spain and got a Brazil recall. The moral of the story – get away from Amorim and you will flourish. So Garnacho should not think twice about Byeren.
Some of these coaches are myopic and do not distinguish talent from young players…they should instead be them getting the chop…Amorim has good players but he lacks skill to get a proper winning 11 combination..
I don’t like Amorims attitude towards youngsters. He’s not God, to demand God’s respect. Everyone sins in this world. If u can’t forgive and forget, don’t try to be God. He doesn’t like straight forward youngsters. He’s messed up many of Uniteds youngsters that started from 5 and 6 years of age. Rashy was with United from 5 yes old but he found fault with him. He could have forgiven him and worked with his weaknesses. He’s a talented player. He’s heart is with United but if United fail, it will be Reubens fault. U can’t change United Style of play. 4 at the back is ideal unless u have super quick defenders. Front runners are very quick and that’s why United conceded so many goals & performed so badly. English football is the most demanding of all the leagues in the World. Ferguson was very successful cus he nurtured homegrown talent and used quicker movements of the ball. Look at what United achieved during his reign. It’s not easy to chop and change any football team. Managers always bring their favorites to United, but when they fail, they find excuses cus English football is very tough and hard to gel easily. Look at all Uniteds flop that cost mega millions but sold for peanuts cus managers fallout with players. Managers need to catch a wake up. Work with ure home grown talent first. If u can’t get results then shop around. Don’t just change the entire team. Supporters are very unhappy about Garnacho and Rashford.
These players-Garnacho,Rashford,Antony,Sancho all had poor mentality and attitude, they always thought that they are superstars yet they are not.they thought they are bigger than the club ,the could not respect their coaches and continued to underperform year in year out,its time they leave we remain with disciplined players who are willing to play as a team
The earlier they sack Amorin it will be better for the club.
