Fabrizio Romano provided the latest updates on Manchester United, especially the situation in attack, which is leaving the future of Rasmus Hojlund up in the air.
The Red Devils have finally found an agreement with Brentford on the transfer of Bryan Mbeumo. Hence as Romano reveals in the latest video posted on his official YouTube channel, the club will now address other positions in the squad, especially the centre-forward role.
The Italian journalist begins by revealing how Sporting CP have offered United the opportunity to hijack Viktor Gyokeres’ transfer to Arsenal. Nevertheless, this remains an unlikely move, as the Swedish striker only has eyes for the Gunners.
Romano provides latest updates on Man Utd, Gyokeres & Hojlund
That being said, Romano insists that MUFC are still keen to sign a new centre-forward, even though it won’t be Gyokeres or the Liverpool-bound Hugo Ekitike, albeit he doesn’t mention any candidates for the role.
But the question that poses itself is what will be the fate of Hojlund following the arrival of a direct competitor for his role.
After all, the Dane is coming off a disappointing campaign where he only managed to score four goals in the Premier League, while the absence of European football next season, coupled with the arrival of a striker handpicked by Ruben Amorim, could leave him starving for playing time.
As Romano explains, Hojlund is determined to stay at Man Utd and fight for his place.
Rasmus Hojlund would only leave Man United if told to

The former Atalanta star would only consider leaving if Amorim or the management were to tell him that he is no longer part of the project.
In recent weeks, Hojlund has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A, where he remains a popular figure, at least based on the number and quality of his Italian suitors.
The Denmark international is reportedly on the shortlist of Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Napoli and Roma.

H🔴jlund is our golden b🪙y and would certainly come good this season having shown glimpses of his scoring prowess especially in the European club competition stage..
Definitely shouldn’t consider selling .with competition,he will get better, learn of others ,get a rest and with the additions,he can stay a bit further forward and not waste as much energy ,helping the others out
Only scored 4 goals last season n yet he needs to be told his not needed…? Cant even score against a HK team(due respect to them)… n u need to told ur not needed??
He is young.. There is a striker in him. He was good at his last club.. This is his season to show his potential while learning from the 2 new boys.
He wasn’t worth the price tag though. Not yet anyway
Going to man U and not scoring? I can do that job too…
Sometimes football has comments. When a striker plays ‘X’ number of matches without a single goal, it is either he adjusts his mentality or quit. You don’t need to be told. It is a sign that it is not working or adding up where you are
RAMUS HOJLUND IS DEFINITELY IMPORTANT CENTER FORWARD CAUSE He’s ONE OF PLAYERS for the Future Of re Beloved Club MUFC and He Wants to Stay that’s means a great lot to us Fans. We have taken Him to re Hearts And We want him to Stay. Joshua ZIRCHEE has traveled with us but will be told he no longer needed and be sold this summer. One other United plyer one of ones for Future Of re Beloved Club MUFC is A. GURNACHO and Despite what Ruben wants I don’t think A. GURNACHO will leave he wants to stay and fight and If there’s someone to leave for PSR it’s Minoo Cause his future is up in the smoke he clearly doesn’t want to be here wants to go and I reckon he will instead of GURNACHO.
