With Ruben Amorim’s job coming under heavy scrutiny, Unai Emery has reportedly emerged as a potential replacement.
The Portuguese tactician was only appointed in November when Erik ten Hag was shown the door following a miserable start to the campaign. According to Fichajes.net, United are ‘showing interest’ in Emery who has been delivering the goods at Aston Villa since 2022. The 53-year-old has already accumulated valuable experience on the European stage. He already had tenures at Sevilla, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Villarreal, winning several trophies and achieving solid results more often than not.
