One Manchester United star is seemingly on thin ice from now until the end of the season.
Indeed, Alejandro Garnacho’s recent antics appear to have frustrated club chiefs in the aftermath of Wednesday’s win over Ipswich Town.
When Patrick Dorgu was dismissed for his reckless challenge on Omari Hutchinson, Garnacho was the attacker sacrificed – over Rasmus Hojlund or Joshua Zirkzee – for Ruben Amorim to bring defensive reinforcement Noussair Mazraoui into the fold.
The Argentine was left aggrieved by the change, presumably because he thought he’d had a lively first half, and reacted by walking straight down the tunnel moments before the interval.
Then, when the dust had settled on the night’s affairs at Old Trafford, Garnacho shared a snap of himself looking somewhat disgruntled in the rain to his Instagram account, prompting speculation over his feelings on the boss’ tactical change.

Garnacho works his way into the bad books

“I am going to talk with Garnacho about that,” Amorim said to the press post-match, referencing his player’s early exit at the Stretford End. “You are making a connection with Rashford. It was cold and wet.”
“The thinking was that we would play 5-3-1,” he reasoned. “That is a risk because he [Garnacho] is the one who can play one-v-one in pace. We had to choose someone to go out. It was my choice.”
Nonetheless, Garnacho’s behaviour hasn’t fared well with those in charge, as Fichajes claims it has ‘caused problems in the dressing room’.
The report adds that ‘the controversies surrounding him have caused his relationship with the coaching staff to deteriorate’ and have ‘ended up exhausting the patience’ of United’s key decision-makers, who are now ready to part ways with the Carrington graduate when the window re-opens.
Garnering interest from both Chelsea and Napoli in the winter, United stood firm in their valuation of Garnacho, which TNT Sports notes is around £70 million.

More mindless speculation by the media again
I think this is about face, it is the Club who are frustrating Garnacho. He is young he is bound to react to stupid decisions. It is a witch hunt to get rid of players the manager does not want so he can replace them with his own just like ten Hag and that lesson has not been learned by the United owners. Last season he was an untouchable Amorim has caused this just as ten Hag used the same strategy to get his own way.
With Amad injured, Garnacho is easily our best attacker, so understandably he wasn’t delighted to be substituted. A strange decision by Amorim, imo: our dodgy defence easily could have conceded a third goal, leaving us chasing the 3 points without much up front. Plus, Garnacho knows he’ll probably be sold in the summer, so chances of him trotting off the field with a big beaming smile were slim.
