Manchester United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy will manage his final game on Sunday when the Reds host Leicester City in the Premier League.
The Dutchman will step aside for new head coach Ruben Amorim, who begins work at Carrington on Monday, but before that the Foxes visit Old Trafford.
United are looking to climb into the top half of the Premier League in Sunday’s 2pm kick-off.
One player pushing for a starting berth after the midweek win over PAOK is Amad Diallo. His brace saw off the Greek champions in the Europa League.
The 22-year-old scored two goals to ensure United won their first game in Europe this season after drawing their previous three against Twente, Porto and Fenerbahce.
It was Diallo’s first start since the draw in Porto early last month and he is expected to be given a late fitness test after sustaining a knock in the closing stages of the 2-0 win over PAOK.
United only have two more points than Leicester, with the Reds positioned 13th in the league table.
Manchester United predicted line-up vs Leicester City
Andre Onana will start between the posts.
The back four in front of the Cameroon international will be Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot. Our two centre-backs were given a rest during the week and will be hoping to block out any threatening attacks from the Foxes.
Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro keep their place in the middle of the pitch, with Amad Diallo and Marcus Rashford joining them on the flanks. This means Alejandro Garnacho could be dropped to the bench.
Up front, Bruno Fernandes will play in a deeper free roam role behind Rasmus Hojlund. The Dane could do with getting on the scoresheet this weekend after a poor display against PAOK.
Final Touch is a big problem for United
Midfielders and strikers,they dont Score
Tema goals, Bruno and others are
Very careless in front of goal, they just
Want to shoot without timing,or even
Look up to see who is in a better position,
Seems like they are to afraid
Leicester City are quite good. I think it will be a real test for Man Utd.
