Manchester United’s bright start to the second half has been rewarded with a goal courtesy of Amad Diallo.
Bruno Fernandes spotted Amad make a run at the far post before picking out the winger, who made no mistake with his delightful looping header to open the scoring against Greek outfit PAOK.
The VAR check ruled that the goal should stand, despite claims of a push from the PAOK defenders.

Amad Diallo brightest player on the pitch
Amad was the brightest player on the pitch in the first half, so we feel he deserved his goal – but a second is needed if United are to reach a comfort zone.
Perhaps the biggest struggle for this team has been keeping leads. They should be able to manage that against second-rate European opposition but we said that against FC Twente, FC Porto and Fenerbahce – and all games ended in a draw.
That’s why United are looking for their first win in the Europa League this season. Amad’s goal gives us the advantage to achieve that.
