As per The Telegraph, Manchester United are braced for numerous approaches from the Saudi Pro League regarding Casemiro and, surprisingly, Bruno Fernandes.

The latter’s potential switch is reportedly ‘less likely’, which is no surprise given the integral role Fernandes plays – not only is the club captain, he’s an irreplaceable cog at the heart of United’s midfield.

On the other hand, the board are open to sanctioning Casemiro’s exit this summer following a campaign in which his performances have been vastly different to those of his maiden season at Old Trafford.

Fans have often argued that the 32-year-old looks a shadow of his former self in comparison to last term, particularly in recent matches, when he’s had to deputise at centre-half and been evidently out of sorts when up against prolific attackers.

Casemiro is the Red Devils’ highest earner on an outrageous £350,000 per week, with his contract running until 2026. The club would then have the option of extending it for another year.

Jason Burt’s report reveals that the player’s agents have already ‘held talks’ with the Saudi sides that are pushing to sign him, although any price tag for his services is yet to be confirmed.
