Manchester United take on Liverpool twice over the next month, with the first meeting taking place in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Jurgen Klopp’s side travel to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, losing to keep up their hopes of staying in contention for all remaining competitions this season including the Premier League title race and Europa League.
In February, Liverpool lifted the Carabao Cup following a Wembley final with Chelsea.
We’ve long known that form can go out of the window in this fixture, so if United perform to their best ability they stand a good chance. A place in the FA Cup semi-final is up for grabs and we can’t have any excuses at full-time.

Manchester United’s final game for two weeks
The players will get a breather of sorts during the March internationals. This means that the FA Cup clash is our last match until we face Chelsea away in the league on April 4.
This international break will hopefully give Erik ten Hag a chance to get more players back from injury.
Yet again it’s a chance of dealing with what’s available to Ten Hag.
Media making a big deal of Klopp’s final season

Salah alert
As much as I hate to say it, Mohamed Salah has a frightening record against United.
The Egypt international has scored 12 goals in 13 games against the Reds, on top of an impressive tally of four assists.
Who’s injured for United?
Ten Hag hopes to have Rasmus Hojlund, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire all available for selection this weekend.
Meanwhile, the absentee list now includes Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Anthony Martial, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans, Altay Bayindir and Omari Forson.
Mount should return to action after the upcoming international break.

Manchester United’s FA Cup history with Liverpool
This will be the 15th meeting between the two rivals in the FA Cup.
United have come out on top on more occasions in football’s oldest competition, winning 10 from a possible 14 matches.
The most recent FA Cup clash between United and Liverpool came in the fourth round three years ago. United won the match 3-2 to reach the fifth round.
