(Video) Bruno Fernandes scores penalty to open the scoring vs Everton

Manchester United are up and running in this afternoon’s game against Everton, with Bruno Fernandes opening the scoring by way of an early penalty.

United started the game in shaky fashion, losing possession in their own third on several occasions but were saved by poor decision-making by their opposite side.

Inside the first 10 minutes, United did manage to create some half-chances and one of them culminated in the opening goal.

The Reds broke down the left-hand side, with Alejandro Garnacho picked out by Marcus Rashford. The young Argentinian feinted one way and went the other before being clipped by James Tarkowski.

The referee immediately pointed to the spot and from 12 yards, skipper Bruno Fernandes made now mistake, as seen above.
