Man United transfer target ‘unlikely to return to Premier League this summer’

Despite recent rumours, Bayern Muinch striker Harry Kane is apparently not expected to return to the Premier League during this summer’s transfer window.

At this point in his career, the 30-year-old England captain wants to win trophies, therefore he moved to Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

Although Thomas Tuchel’s team is now 10 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga standings, they have progressed to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

This season, Kane has been in outstanding form for Bayern, playing 33 games across all competitions, totaling 33 goals and 9 assists.

In 24 Bundesliga games, the Englishman has 27 goals and 6 assists; in eight Champions League games this season, he has managed 6 goals and 3 assists.

Kane’s future has recently been a subject of discussion as both Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping an eye on the former Tottenham striker.

Spurs are reportedly keeping  track of things in case Kane indicates that he would be open to rejoining the North London team.

It seems improbable, though, that the seasoned striker would rejoin the Premier League during this summer’s transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

After signing a four-year contract with Bayern in August, Kane will remain at Allianz Arena until the end of the 2026–2027 season.

During his 432 appearances with Tottenham, the attacker amassed 280 goals and 64 assists, including 213 goals and 50 assists in 317 Premier League games.

Meanwhile, Kane, the captain of the Three Lions, will lead England into Euro 2024 and hopes to add to the 62 goals he has already scored in 89 appearances for his nation.

This season, Bayern have two opportunities to win trophies; but, given Leverkusen’s outstanding Bundesliga record, their greatest opportunity appears to be in the Champions League.

Kane is currently training with the Bayern team ahead of their Bundesliga match against Mainz 05 on Saturday.
