(Video) Bruno Fernandes fumes at referee Michael Oliver after 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford

Manchester United’s unbeaten run in 2024 is over following a 2-1 defeat to Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds had gone seven games unbeaten but they struggled with key personnel missing today.

We had no focal point up front with Rasmus Hojlund injured and Luke Shaw could miss the remainder of the season.

Harry Maguire thought his 89th minute equaliser was enough to secure a point, but Fulham caught United on the counter attack in stoppage time as Alex Iwobi grabbed a late winner.

After the game, footage from the stands showed Bruno Fernandes involved in a furious exchange with referee Michael Oliver.

Fernandes has a reputation for being a player known for complaining to officials, so I don’t think the footage will come as a surprise to anyone.

The players only have themselves to blame for United dropping points. Fernandes must realise that.

    1. 🤦🏽 It is not the referee’s job to make us win easily, for goodness sake. United were dismal, Fulham wanted it more, and Mr Oliver had absolutely nothing to do with us losing.
